Heavy Duty Construction

The entire SR/F system is designed from the ground up to Heavy Duty AS/RS standards for the industrial environment, with conservative engineering principles applied throughout.

For example, the track is ASME 60 lbs./yd. Rail. The SR/F machine is supported on the rail with large alloy steel wheels that are 15 in. diameter thus at least as large as other S/R machines weighing up to 4 times as much. Heavy duty PFV (Plastic Filled Valley) wire rope is used for the vertical lift for maximum life and a better than 8 to 1 safety factor. The heavy duty construction of the SR/F insures less downtime and operating costs even with heavy industrial duty cycles, due to its conservative “Uni-Body” design.
