Examine Items
This screen can be accessed from many different places in CribMaster. It is used to show you all pertinent information about an item. Information like bin location and the current quantity, on-order amount, pending rework, order points, price breaks, etc. This screen will also show you the current comment that is attached to the inventory item. Use this screen to locate an item quickly or just to see the ordering status.
Inventory Properties
Transaction history is now available on many things in CribMaster including Bins, Employees, and User Defined types.
This Inventory screen is used to describe each inventory item. Items will include Expendable, Reworkable, Durable, Gauges, Assemblies, and Kits. Each item contains a description and group to help you locate it quickly. Access Codes allow you to limit access to an item, if you desire. You can set up multiple vendors for each item, along with price breaks and ordering information. Special item types such as Kits and Gauges require additional information that is contained in this record. You will enter this information only if the item types require it.
User Defined Categories
CribMaster provides up to six user- defined categories for tracking usage of items. You choose how many categories you wish to use and what they are called. You can require that entries be chosen from a table so that entry is consistent, or you can permit free- form keying of information. You can also assign items to user- defined categories to help get the right tools issued more easily.
